Today we made our submissions opposing the 160 proposed housing allocation to the Planning Inspector for the Draft Strategic Plan Inquiry. The Inspector requested as little repetition of points as possible so we have not repeated what the Parish Council said or our Ward Councillor said (she confined herself to issues concerning schools).
IT IS NOT OVER – the Inspector is making unannounced visits and this includes to North Ferriby Village.
Replacement window signs are available – SOF table in the Social Club (draw underneath).
Also there may be further Inquiry sessions as there are difficulties caused by ERYC (and compounded by our Ward Councillor due to the contents of her Spring Intouch Conservative leaflet – please note it may not be her fault – see our submissions to the Inquiry) concerning due process as well as concerning the issues of the allocation of 160 and how ERYC have decided to go about this allocation figure.
We are not the only area affected - North Ferriby Village as one of the 11 settlements affected by the new allocations - (we were 85 houses and ERYC now propose 160, and the same for Swanland) – please stay campaign aware – join our email database and keep an eye on our website and the SOF Notice Boards.
